Overview

Mencia is a medium-bodied red variety, originally hailing from Spain and Portugal, that produces wines with distinctive floral and bright red fruit flavours.  It is a wine with lovely aromatics of strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate and florals of jasmine and rose.  Infinitely approachable palate red cherries with a subtle crushed granite minerality and peppery spice.  Perfect wine for spring and summer that is well suited to serving ever so slightly chilled.
